Richard Renaldi - Touching Strangers, Nicholas & Caleb (2013). Renaldi captures brief moments where two strangers meet and pose in an affectionate way. Even though we are told that these two men have never met, I cannot help but put a story to their relationship. They are touching, one holding the others hand while the other hesitate. They're close but there is a distance between them. Why is it that we assume certain things by just seeing two men holding hands?

Photographs Of Strangers Being Intimate

Richard Renaldi, Touching Strangers - Jessie and Michael; New York, New York, 2013

This picture represents the many people who have disguises throughout the play. The men pretend to be others in order to get Bianca to fall for them. Specifically, Tranio acts as Lucentio to get Kate's father to like him so that the real Lucentio can get close to her at the same time.
