Kindergarten Mondrian. Good early beginning lesson on primary colors before they are ready for mixing ( sometimes I throw in one random off color to see what they pick and where they put it) week 2 we use small brush and draw a " road " around our primary shapes. Good lesson for cart when you want to paint with minimal mess.

1st grade warm hands cool backgrounds. Yes, the warm/cool hands worked well for first grade. I did go around and trace their hands while they used sharpie due to time and the fact that I wanted them to look nice for the fundraiser. :)
