This a picture of a cherry blossom in the snow. This links into my theme of 'green' because in this picture the cherry blossom flowers are exactly the same as they are in other seasons but the only thing different is that there is snow on the plant.
The President, the third largest tree on earth. The President, Sequoia National Park is 3200 years old. "The President" is the second most massive tree ever measured: it's 27 feet wide at the bottom and 247 feet tall.
Snowflakes or snow crystals form when ice crystals freeze around tiny particles of dust that are in the air and join together as they fall. Ice crystals that melt as they fall become rain. Ice crystals that form near the ground are called frost.
