Ametrine occurs when amethyst and citrine grow together. A very gorgeous stone!

VIVIANITE Huanuni Mine, Huanuni, Dalence Province, Oruro Department, Bolivia  As Vivianite specimens go, this is a monster. The longest crystal in the group is a whopping 13.38 inches (34 cm) in length - well over a foot! The color is deep green with blue overtones, and there are transparent sections. There is a small amount of typical Sulfide matrix and minor indications of wall contact on the backside along with a certain amount of nicks on a few exposed edges.

A juicy, brilliantly colored phosphophyllite crystal with absolutely top gemminess and brightness to it. It is a DOUBLE TWIN - it has four separate twinned crystals grown together and diverging at the top in a very complex termination

Phosphophyllite: a zinc mineral. The finest phosphophyllite crystals come from Bolivia, but it is no longer mined there. Other sources include New Hampshire, USA and Germany.

It is rare for both colours of quartz to be found in the same crystal.
