An embroidered ‘çevre’ (square kerchief; intended to be worn by men as a scarf around the neck).  From Trakya/Thrace or from Bulgarian Turks, ca. 1950-1975. ‘Two-sided’ embroidery ((identical on both sides of the fabric), cotton on cotton, stylized floral motifs.  (Inv.nr. brdw028 - Kavak Costume Collection - Antwerpen/Belgium).
