You know a change is needed but you aren’t quite sure that the benefits outweigh the trouble of getting started. Now is the time to list the advantages of change against the consequences of doing nothing. Don’t just think about this, write it down! In the left column list all of the positive’s that you believe this change will bring. In the right column list all of the negatives that may come from doing nothing. Take time this week to reflect on the difference between the two sides.

You are committed to making a change. But before you do, set three goals related to your new undertaking. Give yourself a timetable. Ask family and friends for their support. Tip: If your goal is to cut an unhealthy habit, make sure you are replacing it with a healthy one!
