Put your student's names on the back of YOUR name tag. This will help you during a fire drill, tornado drill, and earthquake drill so that you won't have to worry about finding the class list. Most brilliant idea ever.

25 Clever Classroom Tips For Elementary School Teachers (Use a ring of paint chips for student log-ins and passwords they use in your room!

Frame a class list and use a dry erase marker on it whenever you want to mark off names. This could save SO MUCH PAPER AND TIME. I wonder if I could fit four cores worth of students' names on it, or if I'd need multiple frames?

Put a class list (on cute paper, of course) in a picture frame. Use a dry-erase marker to mark students off of a list! Add a line at the top of the page to remind you what it is for. Field trip money, papers signed and returned, etc.

Color clothes pins by soaking in food coloring. In each jar or container, pour boiling water, a tablespoon of vinegar and food coloring drops and mix well.  You can use any combination of drops to make varying colors and shades.  I used both traditional food colors and the neon food colors to make about a dozen different colors.  Add your clothespins and let them soak for at least an hour.

Rit dyed clothes pins -- This is such an easy way to color them! Great idea for adding a punch of color to clothes pins on clip-it behavior charts.

DIY Dry Erase Boards: Write on DVD cases with whiteboard markers and use socks or gloves as erasers. The glove/sock fits inside the DVD case for easy storage.
