Nova Scotia's South Shore: Historic Lunenburg and charming Mahone Bay

Nova Scotia’s South Shore traces part of the Lighthouse Route, and there’s one area in particular well worth the trip: historic Lunenburg and Mahone Bay.

Wow!!!

A very fine example of storybook style architecture is found at the property called Santarella in Tyringham, MA. The thatched roofs are made out of asphalt shingles. This today is an Inn and event locale. If you are looking for Hansel & Gretel this is it.
