Store lesson plans in a 1 inch binder and stand it up on a stand. That way it keeps things from laying all over the desk. Terhune's First Grade Site!

Rather than have trays for your kids to turn their work into, have them put their work in a paper drop folder. They check off their name on the list that it on the back of the envelope. Helps keep track of who has done each assignment and who hasn't.

Have laminated envelopes so you can write the assignment's name on it with Vis-a-Vis marker. On the back, have your class list or class numbers so the kids can check off when they turn them in.
