Recently, there have been lots of posts from users who’ve discovered strange items and are trying to figure out what they are. This is where the subreddit r/whatisthisthing comes in. As the name suggests, users post pictures and ask each other, “What is this thing?” Given the diversity of people on this social media platform, users are often able to immediately identify what those things are. We’ve created a list of weird things that found their purpose via social media.
