It’s November first, so it’s time to start baking Christmassy treats🤩🤩 These Healthier Gingerbread Chocolate Donuts are gluten-free & dairy-free! If you aren’t coealic/intolerant to gluten/IBS sufferer, you can of course use wheat flour in these☺️
this recipe makes 6-8 donuts
for the donuts:
• 1 mashed banana
• 1/4 cup maple syrup (60 ml)
• 1 egg
• 1/4 cup peanut butter (60 ml) (I use a pb that is 100% made of peanuts)
• 3/4 cup gluten-free flour mix (180 ml)
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 2 teaspoons gingerbread spice
• (or 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon ginger
• 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1/4 teaspoon cloves)
for the icing:
• 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips, melted (80 ml) (I used 80 % dark chocolate)
• 1 - 2 teaspoon gingerbread spice
• + sprinkles/shredded coconut
