Meet the Mongolian Horse. There are more of these little horses living in Mongolia than there are people. They’re small in stature, but aren’t considered ponies. They’re used as starter horses to teach small children to ride from a very young age.
The pinner I got this from wrote: There is a new registry that is bringing back the ancient Tiger Horse, a gaited breed with Appaloosa coloring that was once used to hunt Siberian Tigers around the border of China.
It's not a sun spot but a snow cap,Baby?: A fine example of a snowcap appaloosa horse, showing a crisp white cap that stands for homozygosity. Note how the edges of the snowcap are 'frosted', giving the horse a brushpainted look.
