First built in 1861 as a way to cross the creek when it flooded, the footbridge in Rusk TX is an enormous 546 feet long and 4 feet across. It is rumored to be haunted by a woman from the 1800s, who tripped and fell on the footbridge, dropping and drowning her baby in the creek underneath.
