Helena Tynell (os. Turpeinen) synt. 10.12.1918,  on työskennellyt suunnittelijana Arabian taideosastolla 1943-1946,  valaisinpiirtäjänä Taito Oy:ssä 1943-1953 sekä  lasimuotoilijana Riihimäen Lasi Oy:ssä 1946-1976.  Töitä useissa museossa, mm. Suomen Lasimuseo (Riihimäki),  Taideteollisuusmuseo (Helsinki), Nationalmuseum (Tukholma),  The Corning Museum of Glass (Corning, USA).
