A Jig for Bluegills and Shellcrackers - the Hairy Cricket Jig - Etsy

I created the Hairy Cricket to fish for giant Redear Sunfish and Bluegills. I've found that it also catches lots of crappie and catfish and even a few bass. The Hairy Cricket is just a representation of the many bugs that swim around in the lakes and rivers we fish. I like to tip the Hairy Cricket with a small piece of worm. The Hairy Cricket works great worked on the bottom or under a bobber. I like to use the Hairy Cricket Jig with a bobber when fishing around lots of cover for big Redear and Bluegills.
