French gilt bronze lidded Tazza. Extremely fine cast and gilding of a late 19th century stemmed tazza Box. Decorated with a lizard finial and balanced by two beetles standing on each arm. The lizard, beetles, and vines celebrate the overall aesthetic period of love of petite nature, wild nature, and most things unusual—the outside walls with deeply carved floral leaves and flowers.
