These chopsticks are handmade of oak, a hardwood native to Oregon. We finish with beeswax and food grade butchers block oil. It is important to us to do what we can to protect the beauty of our state. We source from local vendors who harvest sustainably, and we create products that replace disposable items with something that is both long lasting and beautiful. Each set is one of a kind. Some natural variations will occur from the chopsticks pictured, due to differences in the woodgrain. If you would like photos of the specific chopsticks that would fill your order please contact us. You have a choice of chopsticks that are round complete or those that have a square-end. We are responsible for every step of construction, so if you have any questions about the products or our methods we'll be able to answer them, and happy to do so. Cleaning and care instructions: Hand wash only. Do not put in a dishwasher. Hand dry with a clean towel or air dry flat. To prevent cracking and keep the color vibrant, treat with a food-grade mineral a oil as needed--simply put a small amount on a cloth and rub in. Beeswax can also be used to seal the wood.
