Hard to find deep red raisin color coordinates with our Russet/Off-White Ikat Stars #CHL-143. Double ikat from India, in an overall rustic check weave. The red and black fibers cross-dye to create a dark raisin burgundy, intense red-brown russet and lots of beautiful texture. No two creamy off-white blocks are exactly the same; the red and black fibers feather into the off-white edges. Perfect weight and hand for all apparel. For face masks, it's not tightly woven enough on its own, but the weight is good, and it's soft. We've heard from many of you that you're still loving your shirts, quilts, table linens, pillows, window coverings, skirts, pants, scarves and dresses from this fabric, years later. This is a true ikat; front and back are the same, with some slubs and other lovely weaving imperfections. Per the label: 'Handwash separately, no chlorine bleach, line dry.'
