Tawaka mushrooms can be found in the wild in many parts of New Zealand, and they can also be cultivated at home as these guys are edible. Tawaka mushrooms grow naturally in the bush and are often found on logs, branches, and trunks of both dead and living trees. They pop out of cracks and crevices in big clusters.
