Vintage 12" World Globe by Weber Costello, 1930's

This is a very nice vintage 12 inch terrestrial globe made by Weber Costello Co. in Chicago Heights, Illinois, USA. The seas and oceans are a green golden tone, which makes this globe more striking than the average ones. It has a full ring meridian which is cradled in the stand, allowing the orb to slide/rotate, changing the axis angle. The meridian and base is of bronzed cast iron.
