As consumers are becoming more savvy about purchasing products, brands are stepping up their green marketing game. It's common to see a roll of biodegradable plastic bags on the shelf, right next to a stack of compostable disposable plates- and can you even buy toilet paper any more that isn't 'earth friendly'? There are so many fancy terms around, it's easy to buy into the marketing hype. But is 'Biodegradable' really better?
