Hvitträsk was designed to be a studio home for the members of the Finnish architecture firm Herman Gesellius, Armas Lindgren, and Eliel Saarinen. It later became the private residence of Eliel Saarinen
Eliel Saarinen: Hvittrask, An updated Finnish sofa with woven carpet meant to be draped over the body during the cold Finnish winter nights. Traditionally this carpet would have been a reindeer hide.
