Christmas is upon is so here's a little info on the 13 Icelandic santas or yule lads. Yes they are all here, including the window peeper, the sausage swiper and the door sniffer :-)

The Yule-lads... First one is paying us a visit tonight... Kids in Iceland put they´re shoe in the window (kitchen window preferably, because these guys are not able to go around without noise... So... My kids have shoes in the kitchen and wait for something nice from them... tangerine, pair of socks, apple or some small toy.. But in case you are naughty... a letter or a rotten potatoe might appear...
