Growing Vegetables Plants from Kitchen Scraps! - celery scraps growing roots and new stalks. One way is to use kitchen scraps to grow plants! Yes a lot of foods you disregard as not edible and/or trash can in fact grow into a plant and give you more fruits and vegetables! It is an alternative way of growing a vegetable garden then growing from seed or buying a bunch of plants.
Self made Miracle Grow. Put 1 Tbs. Epsom Salt, & 1 Tbs. Sugar into each hole with your plant. It makes them grow larger, leafier and greener. Or dissolve 1 Tbs. Epsom Salt into 1 Gallon of water and use it to water your plants, trees, fruit trees, roses, flowering plants, squash,and all other veggies. For plants you have planted in ground or pots sprinkle Epsom Salt on top of the dirt/potting soil and water well. See Link for other ideas.
Moss adds instant age to new things by giving them a time worn patina. Growing moss is very popular in a garden on waterfalls, rocks, statues, terracotta pots, bricks, bolders, and almost anywhere that is moist and shady.
