Painted Flower Pot Bird Baths | Projects, Tips & Creative Ideas

DIY Bird Bath Planter I used terracotta pots, painted them w/ wood stain & baked them in the sun. Drilled holes w/ masonry bit. Sealed water dish & stuck bird (99Store) & rocks on w/ epoxy resin. glued pots together w/ contact cement (99¢Store), planted succulents, & sprinkled soil w/ chicken grit(cause I had it on hand) & river rocks. I kept the top dish free so I can remove it for cleaning. I have done a few of these and they are beautiful! I ran out of time on one of them and just did mosaic on the bowl. However, I spray-painted the stand to look like hammered metal! It is fun to go to the dollar store, Goodwill, etc to get plates, mirrors, and glasses to bust-up into mosaic pieces!
