Only then can we intervene to break old patterns and use the relationship between the three to our advantage. This blog post is a sneak peak into my Flexible Golfer book. Most sports require you to shove your feet in shoes for hours on end. The feet must also support immense weight as you move through various positions. Using myofascial release techniques on the feet at the beginning of this recovery yoga class will offset unwanted tension that accumulates in the feet. And it opens up neurological communication with the rest of the body. This post shows you how.

TIPS FOR TEACHING YOGA TO ATHLETES
So when you start teaching athletes. Keep things simple. Start with basic yoga postures and sequences so athletes become familiar with the practice. Then, as they enhance their yoga skills, you can add on more challenges (and do so in a way that aligns with their sport-specific goals). Check our specific tips to do this in this week's blog post
