WHITEWASHING / LIMING DIY :: She 1st stripped her table top w/ a sander & left Motsenbocker's Lift Off on the carved base for 30 min then scrubbed w/ a wire brush. Some Briwax (liming wax) was applied next, but it wasn't quite what she envisioned (see left image). So, she mixed up 1/4 c. white paint w/ a little less than 1/4 cup water to get a milky consistency and painted it on to give the finish on the left.
