The Cliffs of Moher Ireland (Where to Stay and When to Visit)
Even if you’ve never visited Ireland chances are you’ve at least heard of the Cliffs of Moher. Although these aren’t the tallest coastal cliff faces in Ireland, they’re some of the most accessible and impressive terrain you’ll encounter on the Emerald Isle. I’ll never forget the feeling of seeing of the Cliffs of Moher for the first time while feeling the salty ocean breeze hit my face.

The Slieve League Cliffs of Donegal Ireland
The Slieve League Cliffs of Donegal Ireland stand at nearly three times the height of the Cliffs of Moher. But despite their size, these cliffs are lesser known and much less crowded than their more popular relative. While many other Irish natural landmarks see a flurry of tour buses visiting them each day from Dublin or Belfast, Slieve League has managed to stay off the mainstream radar.

Exploring Ireland, The Giants Causeway (Photos and More)
The Giants Causeway is one of Northern Ireland’s most iconic coastal areas. The geological features found here are truly unique and the coastal cliffs that frame the area make it one of the most beautiful places I encountered during my travels across the Emerald Isle. According to legend, features unique to The Giants Causeway were formed when the giant Finn MacCool created the steps so he could cross into Scotland and accept a challenge to fight the giant known as Benandonner.
