Steiner Ranch Elementary 4th grade ceramic heart dishes with flower sculpture, approx. 6"--8" wide; art teacher: Susan Joe All dishes were made with round clay slabs and each student shaped them into hearts by pinching and pulling the round slab. After bisque firing, they painted the projects with ceramic glaze. Each flower petal is shaped by free-form method....no shapes to cut; just pinch a small lump of clay and flatten into oval or round shapes.
