end…Link
End...Link is a minimalist interior space located in Osaka, Japan, designed by Yasunari Tsuakada. The name of this beauty salon was inspired by the owners passionate desire to turn it into a destination for the latest word in beauty. Although the design was first completed about five years ago, the previous premises soon grew to feel a little cramped due to the rapidly expanding size of the team, which prompted the owner to move to a newer and larger location. Loom Chair
Using rope to incorporate textile techniques at a magnified scale, the Loom Chair, created by Laura Carwardine, combines the use of soft and hard materials frequently used in factory production. The seat and back support for this lounge chair are created from one continuous piece of orange rope, wrapped over a wooden dowel rod structure, as you would see in a traditional cloth loom. (5)
Japanese meets Scandinavian design - september edit
Japanese meets Scandinavian design If you follow my Instagram you have already seen this beauty in my feed, but I just had to show you more. Sometimes you just instantly fall in love with something, just like I did, first time I saw this stool from the well known Danish design company Skagerak. Designed by Chris L. Halstrøm, exhibited first time two years ago and now it is finally in production. I have been crossing my fingers that it would end up in stores, and now it is available right here.
